Our Doctors

Dr. Lisa Goldman, VMD

Dr. Lisa Goldman, VMD

Dr. Lisa Goldman earned her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. For the first decade of her career, she practiced in small animal clinics of every size and description as she accompanied her husband, an Army Veterinary Corps Officer, on his assignments across the United States. Four states and three children later, Dr. Goldman’s family decided to put down roots in Massachusetts. Dr. Goldman’s clinical interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and feline medicine. She especially enjoys establishing close relationships with her clients and their pets. Family events take up much of Dr. Goldman’s time outside the clinic; but when she has the chance she enjoys skiing, running, cooking, and playing tennis among other activities. In addition to Dr. Goldman’s husband and their three children, the Goldman household includes one dog (“Dazzle” the golden retriever), two cats (“Avocado” and “Meredith Grey”), one guinea pig (“Nutella”), and 12 chickens.
Michael Robinson, DVM

Michael Robinson, DVM

Dr. Robinson grew up in New York state. He began his veterinary education in Torino, Italy, and graduated from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Upon graduation he worked in upstate New York as a mixed animal practitioner and he continues to support local farms. He has been at Medway Animal Hospital since 1989. His favorite part about being a veterinarian is knowing he has made a difference in a pet’s recovery from illness or injury. Dr. Robinson’s gentle and compassionate manner puts pets and pet owners immediately at ease.

Dr. Robinson has three children; Gene and Hannah (twins) and their older brother Dan. He and his wife, Arleth, share their home with a rescued Dachshund, “Cassie.” In his free time he enjoys jogging, backpacking, hiking in NH and ME, skiing, playing guitar, and taking motorcycle rides through the countryside.

Monica Mansfield, DVM

Monica Mansfield, DVM

Dr. Monica Mansfield is originally from Maryland. She attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate training and graduated from Cornell University’s New York State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. After graduation she practiced in New Hampshire for several years, both in the NH hills and on the seacoast, then in central Massachusetts for twelve years before joining Medway Animal Hospital in early 2005. Dr. Mansfield is passionate about helping animals feel better and feel loved at the same time and she works hard to honor the bond between families and their pets. Through good communication and education, Dr. Mansfield empowers pet owners to be part of their pets’ medical care. Her well-honed medical skills combine with her naturally gentle manner to make her the perfect partner for your pets’ care.

She and her husband (also a veterinarian) have two boys: one is a graduate student in astrophysics and the other is following in his parents’ footsteps and applying for veterinary school soon! They share their home with two cats, “Ned” and “Ed,” and a playful pug-chihuahua mix, named “Liza.” In addition to her passion for helping animals, Dr. Mansfield loves photography and music. When not at work she can be found playing her guitar, hosting music concerts, interviewing famous musicians for the TV show “Mostly Rock n Roll” that she produces, traveling around the country photographing concerts, and occasionally running half-marathons.

Dr. Mansfield is the author of a memoir, The Black Panties: Tales of Animal Mischief and Veterinary Intrigue, a collection of stories from her first year in practice. She has also published a children’s book about pet loss called When You Have To Say Goodbye: Loving & Letting Go Of Your Pet. She has served on the executive board and public relations committee for the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association for several years.

Ori Stollar, M.Sc., DVM

Dr. Stollar’s lifelong passion for animals led him to pursue a career centered around caring for pets and the people that love them. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. In 2012, he graduated from Hebrew University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. Since graduation, Dr. Stollar has been practicing small animal internal medicine and surgery. In 2018, he completed a veterinary behavior residency (“animal psychiatry”) at Purdue University in Indiana. Dr. Stollar is dedicated to addressing both the physical and mental well-being of pets.

In his spare time, Dr. Stollar enjoys spending time outdoors with his twin sons, wife, and two dogs. He also loves going to the movies, playing guitar, and making videos for his YouTube channel (which, of course, is related to animal behavior).

Dr. Nicole Govoni received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After graduating veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital, an emergency and referral hospital in Weymouth, MA. She practiced in the Rhode Island area before coming to Medway Animal Hospital. Dr. Govoni appreciates the variety and complexity of general practice and emergency medicine and strives to build lifelong relationships with clients and their pet family.

Outside of work, Dr. Govoni enjoys spending time with family and friends. She particularly enjoys any outdoor activity with her husband, two children, and Pit Bull Terrier Lyla and suspects her four-legged family will continue to grow as her young children get older.
