Our Doctors

Dr. Lisa Goldman, VMD
Dr. Lisa Goldman earned her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. For the first decade of her career, she practiced in small animal clinics of every size and description as she accompanied her husband, an Army Veterinary Corps Officer, on his assignments across the United States. Four states and three children later, Dr. Goldman’s family decided to put down roots in Massachusetts. Dr. Goldman’s clinical interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and feline medicine. She especially enjoys establishing close relationships with her clients and their pets. Family events take up much of Dr. Goldman’s time outside the clinic; but when she has the chance she enjoys skiing, running, cooking, and playing tennis among other activities. In addition to Dr. Goldman’s husband and their three children, the Goldman household includes one dog (“Dazzle” the golden retriever), two cats (“Avocado” and “Meredith Grey”), one guinea pig (“Nutella”), and 12 chickens.

Michael Robinson, DVM
Dr. Robinson has three children; Gene and Hannah (twins) and their older brother Dan. He and his wife, Arleth, share their home with a rescued Dachshund, “Cassie.” In his free time he enjoys jogging, backpacking, hiking in NH and ME, skiing, playing guitar, and taking motorcycle rides through the countryside.

Monica Mansfield, DVM
Dr. Monica Mansfield is originally from Maryland. She attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate training and graduated from Cornell University’s New York State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. After graduation she practiced in New Hampshire for several years, both in the NH hills and on the seacoast, then in central Massachusetts for twelve years before joining Medway Animal Hospital in early 2005. Dr. Mansfield is passionate about helping animals feel better and feel loved at the same time and she works hard to honor the bond between families and their pets. Through good communication and education, Dr. Mansfield empowers pet owners to be part of their pets’ medical care. Her well-honed medical skills combine with her naturally gentle manner to make her the perfect partner for your pets’ care.
She and her husband (also a veterinarian) have two boys: one is a graduate student in astrophysics and the other is following in his parents’ footsteps and applying for veterinary school soon! They share their home with two cats, “Ned” and “Ed,” and a playful pug-chihuahua mix, named “Liza.” In addition to her passion for helping animals, Dr. Mansfield loves photography and music. When not at work she can be found playing her guitar, hosting music concerts, interviewing famous musicians for the TV show “Mostly Rock n Roll” that she produces, traveling around the country photographing concerts, and occasionally running half-marathons.
Dr. Mansfield is the author of a memoir, The Black Panties: Tales of Animal Mischief and Veterinary Intrigue, a collection of stories from her first year in practice. She has also published a children’s book about pet loss called When You Have To Say Goodbye: Loving & Letting Go Of Your Pet. She has served on the executive board and public relations committee for the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association for several years.

Jessica Marshall Roberts, DVM
Dr. Jessica Marshall Roberts graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship in emergency/critical care, surgery, and internal medicine at Tufts VETS, a busy emergency and specialty hospital, in Walpole, MA. Upon completion of her internship, Dr. Roberts worked for 11 years as a small animal general practitioner in both private and corporate practices, before joining the team at Medway Animal Hospital.
Dr. Roberts’ professional interests include anesthesia, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging. She also thoroughly enjoys developing close relationships with her clients and working together as a team to deliver high-quality medical care for her patients.
When not working, Dr. Roberts enjoys spending time with her family. Most of their free time is spent in New Hampshire where both her sons and husband competitively race go-karts. She also enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and cooking.

Meaghan Farnam, DVM
Dr. Farnam received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Assumption College and received her Veterinary Medical degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after spending her clinical year at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Farnam loves spending time with her daughter, hiking, reading, and the NE Patriots. She is also a 4th-degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate. Dr. Farnam and her family share their home with 2 cats and 2 dogs.

Ori Stollar, M.Sc., DVM
Dr. Stollar’s lifelong passion for animals led him to pursue a career centered around caring for pets and the people that love them. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. In 2012, he graduated from Hebrew University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. Since graduation, Dr. Stollar has been practicing small animal internal medicine and surgery. In 2018, he completed a veterinary behavior residency (“animal psychiatry”) at Purdue University in Indiana. Dr. Stollar is dedicated to addressing both the physical and mental well-being of pets.
In his spare time, Dr. Stollar enjoys spending time outdoors with his twin sons, wife, and two dogs. He also loves going to the movies, playing guitar, and making videos for his YouTube channel (which, of course, is related to animal behavior).

Nicole Govoni, DVM
Outside of work, Dr. Govoni enjoys spending time with family and friends. She particularly enjoys any outdoor activity with her husband, two children, and Pit Bull Terrier Lyla and suspects her four-legged family will continue to grow as her young children get older.

Christine S., Practice Manager
Christine is originally from Seattle, WA. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Economics and German. She began her career in veterinary medicine as a customer service representative in emergency and specialty, where she helped people care for their beloved pets in need. She then moved to general practice and has been building bonds with clients and their family pets for the past five years.
She lives with her husband and their two rescue kitties, Miso and Sesame. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the area and discovering all of the best local restaurants.”
She has been a practice manager since 2022, joining us from a different clinic in the area. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know everyone and their animals.

Laurie
Veterinary Technician
Laurie has been a part of the Medway Animal Hospital team since 1994! As our head surgery technician, she is an expert at keeping your pets safe before, during, and after medical procedures. Laurie grew up in Medway, but now lives with her family in central Massachusetts on a beautiful lake surrounded by wildlife and flowers. Her favorite part of her job is helping Dr. Fish with orthopedic surgeries, because she loves helping animals with mobility and pain issues become active and comfortable again. When she is not busy taking x-rays, monitoring anesthesia, or assisting with surgeries, Laurie can be found cooking, antiquing, gardening, or spending time with her humans and animals. Laurie’s fur family consists of “Ferdinand,” a 100+ pound Bullmastiff, along with “Buggie” and “Tiggie,” both French Bulldogs. All three can often be found visiting us at the hospital.
